Dual rear brake calipers

Anyone running dual rear brake calipers for a hydro set up? I know they make them for the rest of the e36s but our cars get funky in the rear.

Look for E30 applications- the trailing arms are effectively E30 parts.

There's room top and bottom, but I've never seen one/tried it.

no ,you keep it ( for parc ) but with these adapters you can put twin calipers for a hydraulic handbrake

INTERESTING...

i was thinking about this for the rear of mine, but everyone told me that because on a rally car you dont handbrake it all the time, the pads will be cold everytime you come to use them and the rear wont lock up easily.

You can weld new mounts onto the hub if you want to, that is how my later 330 calipers are welded to the rears on my... well , bench atm, havnt fitted them yet to the car!

the old works skodas used to use 4 pots on the rears with like 4 pads in them, and they split top and bottom rear brakes and hand brake.

hmm interesting!

Just use a pad that's good when cold- like, the stock compound or similar.

The rotor will be warm already...

I knew I remembered reading about this somewhere long ago on a forum far, far away.

Lee might still have some...
