LSD diff fluid change, friction modifier or no?

Hello, I am going to change my rear diff fluid this weekend and I have everything to do it and it is a simple procedure. However I have an LSD rear diff, i've searched the forum to find out if anyone uses a friction modifier in their LSD but I haven't found an answer. I have always used a friction modifier in other vehicles that have LSD rear diffs (like fords and chevys). What do you guys think? Do I use the friction modifier or not?

I have an E30 LSD and when I run straight 75w-90 Mobil 1 I don't get any chatter. I briefly switched to 75w-110 Amsoil last fall and had a great deal of parking lot speed/tight turn chatter. I went back to fresh mobil and all the noise went away.

Well I changed it with bg ultra guard 75w-90 but didn't use the friction modifier. Put about 15 miles on it, no noise and no problems.

I used the Mobil1 75w-90 w/LS additive. I think they sell it with and w/o LS additive. Could the LS additive be the same thing as the friction modifier that you're referring to?

Yes it's the same thing
