they fit just as well as stock and they light up pretty bright, I'm happy with them, my only problem was that they included amber bulbs for the turn signals but they're the wrong bulbs

Jean H.318TI 04-01-2010 04:10 AM

ohhhhh i tho the turn signal was LED too

tiFreak 04-01-2010 04:31 AM

no, just the brake and taillight are, the rest uses bulbs

Jean H.318TI 04-01-2010 04:34 AM

Well take pics and maybe a video if u can

tiFreak 04-01-2010 04:38 AM

I washed mine today. It really needs to be waxed too, but didn't have time today. Maybe I'll do that in the next couple of weeks when I do several other projects on my list. :-D

I'm giving it a wash this weekend  Might also wax it!

Well today is a sad but happy day. I took the cover off of the engine bay, washed and waxed the motorless beauty(actually started this yesterday). Then I took all of the Ti parts, folded down the rear seats and stuffed everything in the cargo area. The buyer is coming down from San Luis Obispo later this afternoon with a flatbed. That's the sad news.

The happy news is that I found a '98 M coupe locally with a blown motor for 5k and I talked the guy down to $4200 cash. I'm keeping my S52 which will eventually find it's way into the M coupe.

Before you guys freak out, I'll start by saying that the guy who bought my Ti is already a member on this site. He has plans to drop an M52 in it, so the west coast will have yet another swapped Ti rolling around. The M coupe is gorgeous! Interior is flawless and there's only one spot on the passenger front fender that has some damage from the 17x10 CCW's rubbing. It's black on black and only has 114k miles on the chassis. As mentioned before, the motor will need swapped, but I already have the S52 built up and ready to drop in.

I'll still check in on you guys from time to time. Probably daily just to help the community and answer questions. Besides that, I didn't stray too far off the path. Afterall, a swapped Ti is just a wannabe M coupe hiding in an e36 body. I know, I know, the M coupe is an e36 yada yada, but you guys know if you had the opportunity you'd do the same thing, so don't be hatin:cool:

b.u.ti-ful 04-01-2010 06:07 PM

Sorry to hear it Jess, but jflip2002 is an awesome dude, so all is good.

Don't be stranger.

cooljess76 04-01-2010 06:24 PM

Thanks for the support guys. I've made a lot of great friends here. You guys truly are one of the most fantastic groups of people and this forum is by far the best I've ever belonged to. I'll still be on here daily to offer help and share a little knowledge. The Z3 forums suck, so you don't have to worry about me trading you guys in for another group. To be honest, I'm a little scared to let her go, this all fell together so fast. I just hope I don't regret it later. Marv, look at the bright side, we'll get to race and you'll probably smoke me since your Ti has a 3.25 LSD:tongue:
