95 318ti front shocks

Looked on here for a good while, seems the question people are asking is a bit different from what I'm after.
Situation: 95 318ti with bilstein hd shocks up front. Currently has H&R springs in there, so it's low. Wanted to bring it up to stock height or close to. I have the stock springs in the back, but no options in hand for front. Parts manual calls for "318ti only" springs. But I'm presuming this is with factory shocks. If one wanted to source oem springs, does anyone know what options exist? I've come across some sources that say almost any e36 springs will fit. Even m3. My concern is not so much with the spring rate, but with ride height and alignment as it relates. What's everyone here with bilstein shocks running for springs?
Thank you all, and I'm sorry if I missed a thread on this subject.
