Jae Rex's M52 project 2K10..

Just dropped off at the shop this week and some of the electronics. Everything else is still on the pallet. Can't wait to start. Thanks for the manual Jim, should make this process easier.

Well it's been an adventure. No pics yet, but finally have the car running. Have a few codes to sort out, but it runs. Definitely need to open up the exhaust. So far, just fabbed up a connector pipe from the M52 headers to the stock Ti exhaust. What exhaust's do you swap guys run? That is my next upgrade before really driving the car.

After taking a closer look, the car is running, but is throwing the following codes. I can't seem to find where to hook up the secondary O2 sensor. Could there be some connection I'm missing? Second is the vacuum valve for the exhaust and third the ABS light after the cluster swap. Any clues to fixing this? Any information would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

I still have issues with the check engine light, ABS, and o2 sensor, but I will work those issues out in the near future. Driving impression: nothing compared to the M44. Very torquey and nice even power. I just blip the throttle and it roars. It sounds pretty mean, and I just using the stock 318 exhaust. I did pick up a OEM M3 catback section with I will try. The M52 transformed this car from an innocent-encono ride, to a stealthy-undercover beast. I LOVE IT!

p.s. I blew my rear struts so those where upgraded to Koni adjustables.

Problems with breaking the hood cable, so finally a pic of the finished product:

It's soooo worth it. When I blew the M44, some friend's were telling me to rebuild to keep costs down. I'm like, no way. Time for an upgrade. I let them drive the car....PRICELESS! They love the grunt and torque. The i6 sounds like Heaven!
