Sport or race....

legger 05-06-2009 08:38 PM

I believe sport, but let me check!

cooljess76 05-06-2009 09:08 PM

Are they red or purple? red=race purple=sport.

I know in europe they make H&R extreme lowering springs. I wonder if they were available in canada. I assume they have the a drop as low or more than the race springs, yet a smooth ride. One ti on this forum had them equipped and it looked lower than my race springs.(He lives in europe)

Not really on topic, it just made me wonder where else they are available.

sport springs

They are purple! Sport I guess...

cooljess76 05-06-2009 10:39 PM

cool, did you just raise the price a hundred bucks?

lysergicsurfer 05-06-2009 11:05 PM

My race springs are purple, does anyone have the sports? What color?

mgbman69 05-06-2009 11:12 PM

My sport springs are purple.

cooljess76 05-06-2009 11:23 PM

I've had both race and sport for 3 different vehicles(1.9L Z3, e36 M3 coupe, 318ti) and in each case red=race, purple=sport.

The post said it was edited...I accidentally posted $150, corrected it almost right away.

Price is OBO...like I said these are like new...

I was also thinking $250 Canadian...so in US funds that's probably around $210.

Guy I bought the TI from didn't like them...he replaced all the struts and springs on the car last year...when he installed the new suspension he didn't like the ride of the Bilstein sports with the H&R springs...(he was 50ish, wasn't into cosmetics really, just ride quality)...he went back to the stock springs because he liked the soft ride...his other car was a cadillac...LOL.

looked at them again tonight...I could pass them off as new, and imperfections are do to packaging, not being on the car.

My race springs are purple.
Better to check the part no. printed on them.

See, it's probably just an revised product thing.
I also have H&R sports on my Civic and they're red.
