M5 engine swap
 

Alot of people seem to be doing euro or us m3 engine swap. Does anyone have any information on doing a 2000- 2002 M5 S62 motor swap into a ti. Any suggestions on this would be appreciated.

I don't think it will fit without doing alot of custom work to fit it in there. It has been done but with a mid 90's m5.

there is a ti here in greece that has the M5 V8 engine. It is a very good idea, difficult but doable, and though the V8 is heavier than the 6, the weight comes towards the rear, so there will not be any serious handling problem

its will fit. Someone did a v12 swap on a Ti

Hamman did it on the ti!

yea that car was bad ass. but the video could have been better

I especially liked the 10 seconds of the guy filling it up at the gas station. Talk about excitment:wink:
