Why are you selling your Xbox and Kinect? Sounds like a good deal.

I need the money.

I have been going to college for 3 years, and have alot of loans.

this summer, i am going over to china for 3 months, and i have no money to do it.

i just bought the airplane ticket for $1900.00 with my credit card, and i still need to get my visa ($140) and once i get their, i need spending money for food and travel. i already have a hotel to stay in, (i am going to teach English in a private, very small high-school in exchange for Chinese lessons)

so, i am selling anything that is not tied down... haha..

i am pretty proud, i was promoted to a "power seller" on ebay, because i guess i sold $3000.00 worth of stuff on ebay for more then 1 month in a row, and have perfect feedback...

ebay even offered me health care options... haha.

all for the sake of an awesome resume. =]

Very cool!! Where in China are you going?? Be care of panhandlers they will beg and beg till you cave and give them money.

haha, i know allllll about them from my last trip with my best friend.. (just for fun that time, our tickets were paid for by someone else, along with a multi-million $$ apartment in downtown Shanghai. it was no cost to us)

This like 5 year old kid hugged my leg and would not let go until i gave him money.... hahahaha.. and in a different city, this like mob of people attacked us for money... haha.. we just gave everything we had and showed them we had no more, and they went away.. (we only had like $3.00 anyway)

anyway, i am going to stay in Shanghai. not in downtown, but about 2 hours from downtown (Shanghai is basically a city the size of Ohio... haha)

i have no plans to travel anywhere else right now, but traveling is very cheap, i just need to make friends.

Unlucky for me this time, i could only get a hotel, (not like last time... haha) so i need about $3k min to do the trip. $4k i would feel better..

i saved up and i have about $2.5k , so if i sell the xbox and sell the rest of my parts car, i will be pretty well in my range of money i need for the trip.

its good to network.... you never know who knows who now a days.. and what they might give you if you live in the USA...

anyway... hopefully i can get this sold. as much as i love it, it would be nice to know that i will not starve or something for the last 2 weeks of my trip.

Very cool, Shanghai is a really nice place, I like Beijing and Shanghai over Hong Kong because if you go to Hong Kong you need a two way visa to just to go and come back into China. When I went in 2008 I didn't have a two way visa and had to get another visa in Hong Kong just to get back into China.

Are you going to have someone translate for you while you learn Chinese?

Wow $2,500 that is a good amount of money saved up. The hotels there are actually really awesome, they are like the high end hotels here in the states.

Well have fun in China and go around and see some sites if you have time to do that.

yeah, the first time we went, my friend and i went all over. like 10 cities. we made friends with Chinese people who helped us get around. hotels are def nice. everything is amazing!

here is the private school i will be teaching/learning at. this was about 3 years ago when i was their before. i got lucky, and somehow made friends with the staff that wanted me back.. haha..

i was looking for some of my favorite pictures, but i can not find them. my friend probably has them.

anyway, thanks man. i saw when i was getting my visa that you needed a special multi-entry visa for hong kong, but that is something you do not really think about.
