Spotters/Spottee's page

What about a section that allows people that spot Ti's around town to post their finds? It can also be used by spotee's to figure out if they have been spotted.Look starting at post 13.

We are using this thread to gauge interest in a Spotter's/Spotte's section on the main page, like the for sale section and whatnot. You can discuss or just simply give a yay (+1), nay (-1), or couldn't care less (0).

I usually just PM the person if I saw them...
If I don't know who it is, oh well...
I think the downside to it is that people might not even check those threads or what not...

well what if the person isnt a member and you referred them to the site and wanna see if they join

you make a thread and in a day its history. thats why we should have a section sorta like the for sale section but spotted. so when you go to the home page it says spotted and the threads stay at the top of that section til a new thread is made in that section.

helps people get in contact with people they see and would help a lot if you have questions about their car

elchicano 05-05-2008 07:55 PM

yup i have seen many Ti's but i don't wanna open a thread everytime i leave a note so i just look around the forum at the new members that have joined.

Flametail 05-05-2008 08:09 PM

This is exactly what we talked about in the other thread...what has to be done to get this going?

thesk8nmidget 05-05-2008 08:14 PM

thats why we made a new thread, to discuss this.

maybe we need to add a poll into the thread.

flametail. edit your first post explain what were asking for and then add a poll of either yes or no and maybe i dont care as options

Flametail 05-05-2008 08:16 PM

It wouldn't let me add a poll question. I would have to start a completely different thread.

thesk8nmidget 05-05-2008 08:23 PM

at the top you click on thread tools then add poll

Flametail 05-05-2008 08:25 PM

Thanks!

I don't have a strong opinion here, but it seems to me that "spotted" threads should be in the appropriate regional forum. How do you feel about having a sticky thread about this in each regional forum?

Flametail 05-05-2008 08:48 PM

the problem with that is that people would have to dig for it. We want it to be easily seen. as long as people tell where they saw them then it would make it easier...maybe put regional stuff in the spotter section?

BTW, where in Nashvegas do you live?

Yeah, lets be honest, we really only want to get in touch with that cute girl we saw driving a TI. By the way, she had dark hair and her car was red. PM me.

thesk8nmidget 05-06-2008 05:58 PM
