boss23 05-02-2010 09:51 PM

did this get sold already? If not, I'm interested. Thanks

JunpoweR 05-03-2010 12:19 AM

I want only the black trim panel
$100?

bubela 05-03-2010 03:06 AM

It is still for sale.

I would like to keep the bumper whole for the sale. Unless boss23 only wants the bumper and not the diffuser? Thank you for the interest.

JunpoweR 05-03-2010 03:21 AM

I would buy the complete bumper but $500 is a little much. Not to thread jack,
I got local California guys who sell it complete for $250 but I only want the insert =)

Mr. Crow 05-03-2010 11:10 AM

Heyyyy bubela,

my offer still staaaaands!

Seriously, you will be holding on to that thing indefinately for 500$. And I mean that in the kindest way possible.

if your going to sell plz contact me. Its a win win for both of us.

bubela 05-03-2010 12:18 PM

It's a win for someone that has an Alaska blue car. I'll entertain offers, but not at half the asking price. I'm also not hurting for money at the moment, and i operate a BMW salvage yard. I have storage space and customers that might come by. No hurry, no worry.

Bimmerella 05-03-2010 10:37 PM

i wanted it so bad myself lol but $500 scared me hehehe

boss23 05-03-2010 10:52 PM

I do want this bumper.. and need all of the parts, but $500 is a bit steep. Cooljess has a post that shows you how to get this entire setup, brand new for $350.

http://www.318ti.org/forum/showthread.php?t=30424

If the seller of this bumper is willing to do $300, I'll take it. LMK. Thanks

bubela 05-03-2010 11:51 PM

It'd probably be best for someone on the East coast. Shipping to CA would be at least $100. It was pointed out to me that Tischer (getbmwparts.com) can get this set up (not painted) for $400. ($350, plus about $50 for the moldings, plus shipping) I'd match that at this point. Again, this is probably best for someone with an Alaska Blue ti.

boss23 05-04-2010 05:14 AM

Just curious why the pricing is being compared to a brand new unit..??

Isn't this a used part?

I get that you're trying to get the most money you can, but it seems like you're not trying to give any of us a deal.

Just thought that I'd say what everyone else is probably thinking.

Thanks for your responses and good luck with the sale.

The paint job on that bumper is not worth anything, take it from a body and paint guy, it probably won't match another car unless it faded the same or has the same scratches on it. Any used bumper has to be repainted so the price you are selling the bumper for does not reflect that it will need a brand new paint job anyways. Take it from me, I can notice the gloss is not great and the bumper has scratches. and is that oil or armorall on the rear diffuser?

bubela 05-04-2010 06:19 PM

Nevermind. It's no longer for sale. Thanks for the interest guys.
