iananderson02 | 02-20-2006 09:35 PM | stock single mass flywheel? non-ac car? I will be swapping my tranny out for a good used one very soon. The clutch is engaging a bit high so I figure I'll replace the clutch also. I am well aware of the UUC/M5 setup but dont really want to drop $1000. Is there a Single mass STOCK flywheel available for these cars. Apparently the e36's without air conditioning use a single mass flywheel and a sprung clutch disc. Anybody know if this is correct and if its retrofitable. It may possibly be the flywheel used in e30 318's. I may just replace with a factory clutch on my used DM flywheel. Anybody got any info on all this? -ian |
