Looking for a Auto 318ti in New Jersey Hi  So I'm looking for a 318ti, I live in North Jersey, and I'm a big fan of BMWs, i have owned a 325i, e36, but crashed it last December. Now i own a Geo tracker, which I've grown to like but i really miss my BMW, and the way BMWs drive. I want to buy it by the middle of August, but I am in no hurry, I start college in Sept, so I really wanna have it by then, but I'd rather take my time looking for THE 318ti than just getting one that will end up costing me tons to fix. If you know of any, let me know. Oh, also I want one with a sunroof and trip computer, and automatic. Good luck for me  |
Hmm are you the one who put an ad on Craigslist for our area? If not, you should check there first. What are you looking to spend? I look around on ebay and craigslist all the time so if I see something, I'll let you know. |
haha yeah i check ebay and craigslist like 24/7 there is one that looks really clean at a dealer in newark i was gonna check it today but i didnt its a 1997, auto, green, looks really clean, say is has tilt steering wheel? dont know but yeha maybe ill check it tomorrow im not a big fan of dealers though |
I am not a fan of dealers either. Every time I saw a car I liked on CL, it turned out to be a POS in person. I would just be cautious when looking at dealer cars, but you never know, it might turn out to be a great car for a great price. |

if you go to see that car bring a printed copy of the advertisement |
the white one looks very clean, like brand new interior, but it has no trip computer=\ and the price needs to be adjusted :P but the performanceisland's 318ti looks absolutely gorgeous. i want it |
trip computer is over rated. My 318ti and my Z3 both do not have the trip computer. |

I live in NJ, go to Rutgers, and am happy to help you check out a car nearby. I've owned two ti's and my family is about to get another one. I have a supercharged ti currently. Honestly, I would suggest you learn to drive a manual (I'm happy to help teach you) because these cars are way more fun with a stick. I could probably teach you in a day. |

oh wow thanks man yeah ive thought about learning how to drive stick, and im just lazy sometimes, and idk but i think its distracting. but if i find a car thats like exactly what im looking for except its manual, ill take it. =] and hows powerful si your car now that its supercharged? |
a little faster than an M3. Seriously though, chicks love manual drivers. They get better gas mileage, and they're faster. Auto 318's are soooo slow (1.5 sec slower to 60). They're also less maintenance. Do yourself a favor and finish learning stick so you can get a quick, cheap, and reliable ti. |
