You said it was a track car, aren't you going to remove the carpet anyways?

But, no, you don't have to, but you will need to at least cut out the carpet where the base plates will go.

how much did you pay? where did you buy it?

I remember a writeup in the Roundel. Maybe Phil Marx has a pdf of it?

Thanks for the tips... it will be a daily driver and planning to track it too.
I paid $212 from the add replied to me. It is an HMS powdercoated black.
I wish it was like Jared's... the center cross bar can be removed so people can sit on the back.. or easy access to rear seat.
mine it bolt on aswell but can't remove the center cross bar. Also... reclining the seats will be impossible.
My car should be coming out of the shop any time now.. new ignition coils, AA chip, and the "wierd shorcut" fixed... but at this point the shorcut has not been found.

Basically the car idles perfect, and all of a sudden.... everything goes NUTS!.

If I apply little pressure to the CHIP, that's when it happens. It is feeding a bad ground to the ground lead from the DME to the DME RELAY and makes everything on PIN #54 (injectors, tank vent valve, vanos solenoid, and idle cont. vlve) freak out.
It's been at the shop for over 2 months now... and no solution to it... it already blew up a set of coils and a DME (the insides of the coils UZED out melting off the coil!!)
the codes are:
1)power supply voltage
2)memory
