ASA AR2 Wheels, any opinions any opinions on these? http://i69.photobucket.com/albums/i7...r2-profile.jpg http://i69.photobucket.com/albums/i7...th_ci3_l-1.jpg http://i69.photobucket.com/albums/i7...anth_ci2_l.jpg http://i69.photobucket.com/albums/i7...anth_ci1_l.jpg I would like to get the 17x8s, I just don’t think 18s would handle well in the torn up streets of D.C., opinions? p.s. would the bmw center caps fit Thanks |
Don't like a machined face on a wheel of that style. Go to bf.c, they are running a GB on CSL style wheels, $700 for a set. Do it. |
I've contemplated the ASA AR1s before, which are similar to the AR2s, and although I think they're good wheels, the weight stopped me from buying them. But if you like them, go for it. |
The AR2 wheels are licensed by bbs. In comparison, the ASA AR2, bbs CH, LM and RA wheels are all around 22 lbs and are considered Lightweight at the Tire Rack Website. Are they really that heavy? |
moku, i just saw that you have the bbs RKs, no wonder they're only 16.8lbs ps your ti is flyyyyaaaahhaaahaaaaahh |

I like ASA wheels, and I still look at the ASA AR1s in black with the polished lip every now and again. But like I said, if you like the AR2s, go for it. At the end of the day, it's your ride and you should be happy with it. And thanks for the compliment, I appreciate it. :mrhappy: |
i have the ar2s on my car, 18x8.5 front 18x9 rear. combined with eagle f1's my car handles like no other.... now for some sway bars haha. and yes the bmw caps do fit my car is the one in the middle http://www.vabimmers.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=106 |
