New to the group Hi All, Just want to say thanks for the addition to the group. I have been looking at the 318ti for some time now. Just recently I took the plunge and bought one. I am the proud owner of a Silver, year 2000, E36 318ti, 5 spd manual. Body is in good condition but front suspension is in need of a full rebuild and suspect engine is getting tired (210,000 kms). Looking forward to the journey. Kind regards, Jamie |
Welcome Jamie, I learned a lot from this forum that helped me when I rescued a 95 ti. Enjoy! Cheers, Butch |
Jamie, Just picked one up this Friday. Mine needs suspension overhaul as well, but appears to be in great shape! We'll be along the same path! Dave |
Hi everyone, I’m currently working on a 1996 alpine white E36/5. I bought the car from someone I knew that works on cars and it only had 65k miles. That was about 1 year ago, so now the car has been given some upgrades and some new shoes. I recently added some polyurethane bushings with solid transmission bushing mounts. Along with the bushing upgrades, I also swapped out the old aftermarket coil over strut with Air bags. Next, I’m looking into boosting my 318ti . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
