Vent window edge protection replacement? The rubber trim ("edge protection" in realoem parlance) on my driver's side vent window is torn. Realoem has the trim listed as a separate part, but past postings on this subject include comments that you can't just replace that part - you have to buy the entire window. Is this really the case? Seems like if you could just get the trim, new could be installed with, say, windshield cement or similar. Also, realoem lists the glass as "green side window". Wassup with "green"? Thanks! |

"Green" just means it's a tinted window- the factory tint is a very light bluish-green. |
He's talking about the rear pop open windows. BMW refers to them as vent windows - his terminology is correct. The "green" is due to the unnoticeable factory tint. PN: 51368242601 AND 02. |

Yeah, I don't think that rubber is available separately. |
