Complete pics of a 318ti to M3 track car conversion |
Man, that's one serious ti. Great work, the brake ducting is a work of art in itself. That reinforcement channel at the rear end that ties into the rollbar is great. And the rollbar coming through the dash vent, excellent. You can be proud. What class does this highly modified ti race in? |
very cool! which rear subframe did you use? m coupe/mz3? gotten it out on the track yet? |
wow, looks like a blast. have fun -chris |
Great Job! thats 1 serious son of a gun. Are you planning on force induction? By then you will have a killer in the track.... |
Jcarp what kind of suspension are you running? It looked like ground control, but I called bimmerworld and they said a ground control wouldn't work for a 318ti so I gave up on that. Could you give me some details about it possibly? Like height adjustment |

It is a M Roadster rear end. The suspension is Ground Control - all the parts came from James Clay. Dredder, NO forced induction, been there, done that in another car. I wanted a fun, reliable track car that would spend its time on the track, not in the paddock. I'll have it down at PIR I'm sure in the next month or so. |
Amazing car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :2gun: Loved looking at the pics, very detailed. Quote:
