Turbo more power and less $$$

Super Charger more power less $$$.

Super Charger = much easier to install less power per psi/bar

I've run both of them on the same motor I currently have. Big difference on the butt dyno

If you want the cool whine of an S/C go for that + its an easy install and you can get good numbers

If you want turbo with better numbers get that but gonna have to custom make somethings

At the end of the day, they both cost time money and effort.
Either is capable of pushing the M42/M44 to the point of destruction.

"better" is relative to your expectations.

The Boost is better :D

Engine swap?

THAT318 06-26-2010 09:01 AM

engine swap im going to have to say, if you find all the right parts, will cost less. from what i understand the motors are direct drop ins. its just a matter of finding a motor/tranny/ecu/harness and put it together. and swap is much safer. dont have to worry about "i blew up my motor because i was being a jackass and boosted at 15." yea forced induction is more fun but too much hassle.
