Just bought a ti with a swapped motor Good morning, I'm Matt and I'm new to this forum. My brother owns a BMW shop in Phoenix and he regularly builds unique Bimmers. I just received a 1996 318ti with a 2.8L engine. He purchased the car a few months ago without a motor and found a wrecked 328 for the donor parts. It's a pretty sweet ride. I look forward to learning more on the forums! |
Welcome! I have a 1995 with a 2.8L M52 as well. If you have any questions hopefully I can help. |
Thanks! I still need to source a 188mm diff. Did you swap the rear end in your ti? |
Not yet. I've been fairly happy with how it performs with the stock ti diff so far. It's on the list though. |
I have a 188 410LSD. You can use your stock axles if you use the small case flanges. You should get the correct 6cyl axles though Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |
