Koni and H&R race for sale $400

5 Attachment(s)
SOLD!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a set of Koni single adjustables and a set of H&R race springs for sale.

Here is what's included:

Front and Rear Koni single adjustable shocks
H&R race spring set
Rogue upper rear shock mounts
95M3 front strut mounts

The Koni's aren't pretty but they work well. The rogue rear mounts are less than a year old and have less that 1000 miles on them. The 95M3 strut mounts have less than 5000 miles on them.

Here's what they cost new:
shocks: $634 (tirerack)
springs: $224 (tirerack)
Rogue rear mounts: $95
M3 front mounts: $190 (bimmerworld)
Total: $1153

I'd like to get $400 plus shipping for them.

I'm selling them because i upgraded to TCKline double adjustable coilovers.

Bump,

Did you run into any issues running M3 Offset Strut Mounts? How'd they work out?

Nope, no problems. These are the 95 M3 mounts. So, they just give you extra caster. It basically helped calm the car down at high speeds....it was very twitchy on high speed straights when I had the stock mounts on there.

Hmmm, Twitchy?
I have the same setup.
It feels like the car is getting light at high speeds.
Can I dial in more caster with an alignment?

I don't think alignment will do it. You can only adjust front toe on our cars. Your only choice is to swap top mounts or get offset lower bushing. I had the offset treehouse control arm bushings and with these 95m3 top mounts. That gave me a total caster of 7 degrees. The car is perfectly calm and controllable at over 100mph with that much caster. Although that much caster does cause a little more steering effort.

Price drop to $400!!!!

Still for sale!

I've had quite a few people ask about the mileage on the shocks. I don't know the mileage. I bought the car with this suspension on it. I've put 10,000 miles on them. They work great and have no leaks. Koni's are rebuildable too. So, if you ever do have a leak, you can have then rebuilt and custom valved at the same time.

Someone has to want these!!!!

pnosker 06-01-2008 04:45 AM

Not bad, I'll talk to Dad about it.

jekaio 06-01-2008 08:27 PM

im interested in rear shocks ONLY.

so if anybody needs the other parts, i will take them.

cooljess76 06-01-2008 11:57 PM

Perfect, I'll take the springs. That'll leave just the front shocks and mounts. Anyone else?
