Quick Fashion Question

Not that im going to do it but just have a doubt.

If you supercharge your TI and have the same power as an m3, would you still put your badge as 332TI or ///M TI? Just wondering because you have the same power (i know that you dont have the motor though) I know someone (i forgot who) made a badge that said "DASC" for the left side of the car.

If i do get the SEAM kit, i plan on putting 318TS. TS for "Twin Screw" unless its chizzy and pathetic. But neh, ill leave it as TI. I prefer to leave it stock although my engine wont be stock.

Also the 96+ should be called 319ti and not 318ti

The only true designator would be 332ti or 328ti, etc with //M badges on spoiler and side door moldings IMO. One does not make an //M car on their own.

Panzer_M 08-09-2006 06:08 AM

What about the ///M ClubSport* insert on a true 95 Club Sport inplace of the just ///M insert.

Still looking for these first hand or real pics but I got a p/N

I'm tossing the idea of a Mercedes' "Kompressor" badge w/ a DASC.

no, but a garage can make a car there own, like the TC Kline Tis you see every now or then, not a M car, but def a special model like a Hartge or Alpina.

96cali 08-09-2006 06:14 AM

So Dinan, Alpina and Hugo?

I would rebadge my car 318ti.
or 316ti...
lol
As for the ///M Clubsport, I would only rock it if my car was a real clubsport.

I'd take the S from a Mini Cooper S.
318ti S

Leave it as a sleeper.

It's been done before.

I think he is a member on here or bf.c but a black ti with the Kompressor badge in the rear of the ti.

My general rule of thumb is that if you need to go out of your way to claim something, chances are you're boasting. Actions speak louder than words, so just put your foot into it and let the rear wheels do the talking.

I wouldnt change it to 332ti, thats saying that you have a 3.2 liter engine. I wouldnt change it to ///M either because its not a ///M car. I would put a badge that says DASC or Supercharged on. That way you can show off your new power without pretending to be something your not.

+1 - I totally agree. I like the DASC emblem because only a small number of people know what it means.

+1. Might as well put some ricer stickers on it as well.

Or 31.895ti if we're going to nitpick.
