Any ideas? Ok so i just bought a 97 black 318ti and the only thing i really can afford to do with it right now is installing a new exhaust. I really don't want to be too ergonomic with it, basically want it as loud as it can be and stay legal... I also don't want it to sound like a ricer, i'd prefer a sporty sound! Any ideas?? Thanks -John |
Legal and loud? I don't know. Loud I'd go with Brosal <sp?> Sweet I'd go with Supersprint. |
ok thanks does Brosal make any certain exhausts that are for the 318? |
oh and i think its Bosal??? |
yeah, most people on here are doing the Bosal Brospeed i think |
Alright thanks... Any idea how many horses that would add? |
i dont think much, exhaust and intake dont do much for the m44s, but it does add a little |
Ok thanks that is very helpful... I just bought the car and really don't know much about it yet... oh another question... any idea about speaker size? the front ones are crappy and have a rattle to them, and the rear ones are completely blown |
fronts are normal 5 1/2s rears are special to bmw, but there are ways around it: http://318ti.org/forum/showthread.php?t=4541 thats one way |
Oh man that thread will be very helpful thanks a lot |
no problem, oh and dont quote e on the 5 1/2, but they are 5 somethings, im just not sure exact size |
ok i just found a site that said the 4" MB-Quart stealth mount speaker would fit in the rear... any idea on that? |
in the write-up they say the MB quartz size 4t fits |
oh, and heres a tip about bmws, if its plastic, and you dont need to touch it, dont haha their plastic is known for breaking frequently |
