Thinking about buying this car

Hello All

I recently moved to Manassas VA to take a job with an exciting startup company based in Europe.

Company name: http://www.o3bnetworks.com/

Time is coming near to replace the Ti, and this car looks tempting.

What's your opinion?
Will be selling my Ti if and when I buy a new car. Mostly good for parts, but will pass inspection, and drives fine.

Thanks
Eric

Good luck! Have you driven in the NoVA/DE area before?

It's nothing like NY/NJ where people actually know how to drive.

Back to the car. No experience with them.
Sounds like it's a garage queen. :)

Does that mean I shouldn't buy a nice car.....haha?

I'd buy a Hummer for that area. :)

I'm not a fan of the look of the new hardtop Z4s. I liked the old ones, loved the look of the coupes. But that's just me.

I like that it has a manual, but if you plan to do frequent commuting in the DC area (especially during rush hour), you may want to choose differently. I wouldn't say it was as bad as Chicago, but still not fun.

Congrats on the new job! Remember not to speed in Virginia. I'd drive a slow car there: http://jalopnik.com/never-speed-in-v...-in-1613604053

Wow. Good story (the Jalopnik article). I did about 2 weeks for DUI and their story sums it up nicely. I know what I did was wrong, and I plan to never drive after drinking again, but it was a good experience. Met a couple of good friends, found some good authors to read. But yeah, never get sentenced to jail or get a DUI ever. Not fun.

Wow! Thinking back, I guess I was lucky just paying a fine and court costs after blowing by an officer on a rural road when I lived in Virginia. I recall going to court and no one got off. I was the last case and perhaps folks just wanted to end the day and I got off easier.

I just remember the traffic being bad all the time and you weren't permitted to split lanes on a motorcycle. (i.e. ok in Cali) the rural roads where the only open areas to go fast.

O yeah, I lived in Centreville, just north of Manasas.
