Spare tire wheel BMW jerry can(Fuel Can)

hold 9L of fuel and fits nice in the trunk, which we don't have.

That's pretty slick! Those clever Germans

Seen that many times:cool:

Is there even room in our cars, with the tool kit sitting in the spare wheel well?

no

Possible under the car w/ the spare is, but safety would dis-courge that.

L84THSKY 11-28-2006 09:59 PM

Not to mention the weight of carry around that extra fuel.

Designed to be empty

Those things are designed to be empty. When you're stuck on a highway out of gas, you carry that container to the station.

L84THSKY 11-29-2006 09:05 PM

Just hope there is a station close by:smile:

The germans think of everything, very cool idea, practical I don't think so....I guess if you every need a little extra weight in the rear that is a easy way.
