Quick fitment question

I found these wheels on craigslist, but the guy has no idea what he has, and all i can gather is that they came of a 2000 528i, they look like style 5's, but they aren't riveted, and the are 7Jx16H2.

Will these fit? he's only asking $250 with brand new yokohama's and no curb rash

Edit: They're style 29's so their shouldn't be a problem

If they came off of an e39, the centerbore is going to be too big and you'll need hubcentric rings to adapt them down from 74.1mm to the 72.56mm e36 hub size. Also, the offset is going to be significantly lower, so they'll stick out further. However, since they're 16x7 vs the 17x8 style 5's that most people run, if you run a smaller tire size and your car is at stock ride height, you shouldn't experience any rubbing.

So will these do the job?

those ones don't exist anymore, but that's what im looking for, not the plates plates and longer bolts right?

can't really tell if those are aluminum or plastic. I've always used aluminum ones. Normally you could pick up a set on ebay for under 15 bucks, but the only ones I see listed right now cost about 30(way too much). I think tirerack sells aluminum rings.
