Options for California roof?
 

My 1996 ti California cloth sun roof has several problem:
1. Two owners ago, the motor gear stripped & the whole motor was replaced. After the replacement, the roof bound and would not move. I have both old & new motors.
2. It looks like one or more of the bows are bent.
3. It is leaking, I think around the outside seal.
4. I can sit inside the car & see daylight at one edge. At highway speed, I see a lot more daylight.

I would love to take the car into a dealer or such & just say "Fix it" but from what I tell that would be more $ than the car is worth. So what options do I have? Try to get the leak fixed, and to get the top to sit flat enough that I don't see daylight around it (and hear the extra wind noise)? Any other suggestions in the sub-$1000 range?

Find a good boat top place,, there are some tricky canvas systems out there...
