My Dream Car

The looks of my Ti.
The interior of my 1.
The tossability of my Ti.
The power of my 1.
The features of my 1.
Did I mention the looks of my Ti?

I have always loved fastbacks/sport wagons, from the Mopar fastbacks of the 60's ('66 charger, '68 barracuda), the Z cars of the 70's, the Audi's and the Ti's. Maybe I'm just too old skool, but too many interior distractions/electronics take away from the driving experience. The GoKart like tossability of the ti is why I keep going back to it, as it just begs, "lets go have some fun!"...

agreed im not a fan of any cars (for the most part) after 2000

PS: Why do we have a forum for 1 series? I find it pretty random that we have a 1 series forum on a 3 series board, even though there are more people that own 5 series instead of 1ers.

The one series is the only BMW that comes in a H/B!

Maybe because the 1 series is the equivalent to the older 3 series... smaller/lighter more agile/tossable car... rather than the CLUNKER 3 series BIG/HEAVY, 5 series like size and bulk!....

The 1 series represents what the 3 Series was originally since its introduction up to the E36, cause the E46 was already too heavy!... Even though I loved my E46 M3 it was Heavy!...

tiFreak 04-04-2009 10:47 PM

plus, when the 1 series first came out a lot of threads got started here, and they were eventually all moved into the 1-series section
