Currently available exhausts 2022

What off the shelf cat-back and header-back systems are currently for sale for these cars?

I know this topic has been beaten to death in the past but it's been a few years since it was last discussed and it seems that many of the previously recommended systems are NLA.

My list so far:

Magnaflow $656 USD Looks alright. Unable to find any clips of what is currently listed on the MF website. It seems there was previously a dual tip system that is now out of production. Centre pipe/header back also available.

Supersprint ~$900 USD Looks very nice, but on the pricier end. A few good soundclips available. Dual tip muffler so will have to install a 323ti rear bumper insert.

Billy Boat ~$1000 USD Looks quite nice. But have read some reports of fitment issues with this system.

Cybox ~$270 USD Very good value. Not sure about shipping outside of the UK though.

Stromung $500 USD Wesbite doesn't looks like it has been updated since the 90's. Looks like it could be a nice part, but not sure about this.

Any other suggestions?

I'm located in Australia if that makes any difference.

If you could find the single tip Supersprint I would say that. I loved that exhaust on my M44 and had it until it rotted out from the inside. Stromung makes nice stuff.

Can't find much about the single tip version, except for a few forum posts from 15 years ago. Any idea if it's still available?

I doubt it, might be able to find a retailer in AUS that has one on the shelf. It has a resonator and deep tones. I was told it sounded close to a 6cyl, but it did not sound like a 4cyl of the period.

SS might make one? They made me an M10 header, took 6 months but I got it.

Have you decided yet?

I put the dualtip Supersprint and the oem insert on a 97 m-tech I restored last year. I love it, with the exception of running up a long incline. From the outside its a perfect note and overall not obnoxious.

Not yet. Still working out what I want to do. Thinking about just going to a local exhaust shop and getting something made up.

Was the inner you used the m-tech insert for a euro 323ti? PN 51122496320
No fitment issues? The 323ti stock tips seems quite small.

I would have to dig up receipts to confrim the number but yes. It worked like it belonged there from the start. And size matched the dual tip perfectly, as if made for each other. I'll try to get a picture of it this week.

Good to know! Did you have to buy the connecting pipe as well?

According to my paperwork that number PN 51122496320 is what is on my invoice. I checked with my shop who did it for me when I had rust mitigation work. And yes it was just the muffler. It's fully adjustable fits perfectly. Needed some tweaking to get it the correct angle so I didn't have a vibration sound at high rpm against the heat shield. Since then it's been perfect. Looks like it belongs. Here you go..

The 323ti piece is the hot ticket.

Do you have the steel heat shield inside as well? I think I have both part numbers (and the one for the plastic rivets to hold the steel to the plastic) in the manual.

I have a new one on the shelf waiting for when I need it. Which should be next year with emissions becoming a thing of the past for me… hard to believe I e owned it 25 years coming up.

25 years is no small feat! Then again if I had an s52 swapped compact I'd probably be pretty happy.
