1998 540i 6 speed for sale
 

195,000 miles, 6 speed manual, heated steering wheel. I've owned this 540i for a year now.

The bad: clutch will need to be replaced in the near future. It's a daily driver, starts and drives like it should though. The sunroof is suspect. The previous owner told me not to touch it so I haven't touched it. The driver's rear window needs the regulator repaired. It stays up on its own but won't roll back up if you roll it down. There are tabs on the regulator that are bent and allow the window cable to pop out. Radio needs to be sorted out. There was an aftermarket unit installed, albeit poorly. There is an oil leak and a coolant leak. I am not sure where from but they are not incredibly terrible. The window tint is not the best. The driver's heated seat does not work.

The good: Cruise works, heated steering works, passenger side heated seat works, tires are good (Michelin's on all four corners), the coolant system has been overhauled (radiator, hoses, water pump, thermostat, fan clutch). It came with a cold air intake but it has the stock box installed now (will include it with the sale). Steel brake lines are being installed this weekend (12/24/2016) as well as the two intermediate lines in the engine bay.
