pedal assembly removal
 

I'm starting off my 5 speed swap and already I'm running into trouble...and I'm hoping you guys can help....I have all the bolts/nuts removed from the pedal assembly, but I can seem to get the assembly out. There seems to be a wire harness that is in the way, and the darn thing won't budge. I don't want to damage anything, so I figured I'd check with you guys to see if you've run into this problem before. The wiring assembly I'm talking about is right were the pedal bracket bolt attaches (the only bolt). See the arrow below for where the wiring harness is interfering with the bracket.
