FOREMOST: I'm asking $18,000

I would kindly ask that anyone who has a negative opinion of the price or any other commentary that would detract from the sale, to kindly NOT post their commentary.

In all cases, you can contact me directly (in Los Angeles) at 818.857.1300 or email me at chris@eucalifornia.com

Due to its impractibility for carrying two children (the newest as of 12 November), I'm selling my beloved 1997 BMW 318ti. It's with a heavy heart and much conviction that I part with this car as this BMW has been (hands down) my favorite BMW I've ever owned...And I've owned nearly every BMW ever manufactured, so I hope it goes without saying how much I enjoy this car. Foremost, you are looking at a 1997 318ti finished in Alpine white. On the inside, I've had the interior specially tailored using the Motorsport Hurricane Cloth interior. The front seats, while Motorsport cloth-wrapped, are also protected via the M3 CSL front Motorsport seat-belts. The steering wheel was sourced, from Europe, and now is much thicker, sportier and less-clumsy than the factory piece. I've also gone to the effort of installing an e46 rearview mirror which integrates the factory LED (operational with the alarm) as well as the Universal Homelink Garage door opener and the automatic dimming feature. The other interior addition was a lighted //M shift knob, CF M3 CSL door sills and e36 factory center armrest. This 318ti comes equipped with the factory SPORT PACKAGE, ACTIVE PACKAGE & HEATED SEATS...Those who are looking for a Ti will know this option-combination is hard to come by. The ACTIVE PACKAGE features the onboard computer as well as cruise control. In the rear window, I have added the factory rear windshade which (very adequately) protects the rear area of the car from sun. My Ti has also undergone upgrades in the following department: Headlights, tail lights & side markers. The headlights are now glass-cased, Euro-ellipsoids with Xenon low beams & angel rings. It's important to note that components weren't hacked to made an HID Xenon low beam. These were specifically sourced (Halo) for this setup and expertly installed therein. On the outside, you will find, what I feel, are the nicest wheels for this car in the BBS 17" RK with BRAND NEW Falken FK 452's measuring in 245/45/17 in the front and 245/40/17's in the rear. NOTE: These wheels are the factory offset without spacers and they absolutely do not rub. The RK's are dramatically light and, if memory serves, each weigh a mere 18 lbs. While I added H&R Sway Bars and a Racing Dynamics front strut brace, I intentionally did not alter the factory Sport shocks & springs as I feel they offer the best compromise between ride & performance values. On the rear of the car is the (very) rare Hartge silencer. It should be noted that this muffler was manufactured for the 318ti. This wasn't fitted by hack-welding integration into the factory exhaust system. On the rear of the car, to accommodate the oval exhaust exit, I sourced the spoiler baffle for a European 323ti. Once again, this is a factory part...Not some Ebay-bin piece added for show. Also in the rear are of the car is the factory M-Technic rear hatch-lid spoiler with windshield wiper integration--again, a factory-sourced part. I've specifically set-aside mention of the onboard entertainment system, because I wanted to stress what may not be evident: While I've added the Pioneer AVIC N4, I have left the stock speakers and amp intact...No boxes of speakers (ala PEP BOYS or KRAGEN) or swap-meet amplifiers have been hacked/screwed/glued in. I have merely removed the factory head unit and added the AVIC N4. Along with the AVIC N4, I chose other Pioneer integrated options. Namely the Pioneer Bluetooth & IPOD integration with the N4. That's right. This Ti has bluetooth & IPOD. I also chose to have the XM Satellite tuner and XM Nav-traffic options. Both are part of the AVIC N4 and not something that was hacked into the car. The IPOD cable (glovebox located) allows you to charge your IPOD while the IPOD itself is accessed through the interface of the AVIC N4's touch-screen GUI. I barely had this installed two months ago and the system works flawlessly/perfectly. The unit also has the onboard video bypassed so that movies made be viewed while the vehicle is in motion (check with your local law enforcement before viewing in-car entertainment). The N4 also features DVD-based navigation that is intuitive and easy to use. LAST BUT NOT LEAST...I went to the considerable expense of having the DOWNING ATLANTA SUPERCHARGER installed in my Ti. For those not familiar with the DASC package, it was manufactured specifically for the BMW M44 engine. In stock form, the 318ti produces an ample 138 horsepower--it's important to realize that this is flywheel horsepower while the rear wheel horsepower (RWHP) probably measures 110 hp. With the addition of the DASC the RWHP specs are now somewhere between 180 and 200 RWHP...A significant difference. Anyone worried about fuel economy or driveability with a supercharger need not worry. The DASC setup is Street, CARB & DOT street legal. The DASC system also operates on a bypass system in that your fuel economy is virtually unaffected if you aren't getting into the power constantly. Accordingly, and with proof, I EASILY OBTAIN 35 MILES PER GALLON on the highway and better than 25 in the city. If this sounds too good to be true, it isn't. With combined city & highway driving, I obtain 350+ miles per tank. On the highway, it is not hard to eclipse 430 miles at 70 mph. The DASC setup works perfectly. You wouldn't know this system was in the car by starting it or basic driving. The car does not consume any oil, does not leak any oil and there are no other leaks of any kind. If anyone interested, you can CLICK HERE FOR A PERFECT CARFAX REPORT OF MY 318ti. My 318ti has never been smoked in; it has always been garaged; has never been in an accident (please note the matching VIN labels on each of the body panels); has no-known issues or problems whatsoever. I, recently, (November 3rd) passed California's stringent emissions test. I've posted the results, below, so you can see exactly how well this 318ti runs...It was barely breathing in the (very strict) emissions dyno-check. Moreover, I have already paid up the California registration through January of 2009. There are no check engine lights present and the car runs & performs exactly like you would expect it to. The word FUN has never been so appropriately used in the description of a car. ALSO INCLUDED IN THE SALE ARE THE OWNERS MANUALS, THREE SETS OF KEYS, TWO ALARM REMOTES AND ALL VEHICLE SERVICE HISTORY. It it should also be noted that I have this 318ti advertised, elsewhere, nationally. As such, the sale could end at any time. DO NOT WAIT UNTIL TO SUBMIT YOUR OFFER AS IT MAY NOT LAST UNTIL THE END OF THE AUCTION. Accordingly, if you have any questions, at all, feel free to contact me (Chris) directly at 818.857.1300.

Thanks Teetime...Quite the opposite of the rhetoric I was expecting ("You're priced to high, bro.")

I've already gotten a $4,500 offer
An offer to trade an 1989 MBZ 190 + $2,000
And, believe it or not, a straight up trade for a 2003 Camry...A salvaged Camry...

Ah. It's nice to see a tastefully modified, well kept ti. It's sad you have to part with it but I guess you 'gotta do what you gotta do.' Good luck with the sale, and high five for BMW enthusiasts.

That is one sweet Ti. Love the interior fabric.
I wish you could hold your prices as much as possible, no dirt cheap prices for this well
