Widebody Ti Wheels First post here. After doing my s52 swap on my 318ti i decided to take it up angeles crest and realized how baddly i need more tire. a little bit of info about the ti Coilover front drop spring rear factory wheels and i think im running a 215 off hand Ill be purchasing a wide body kit from over seas that will extend wheel coverage 2.7" each corner. After talking with the manufacture they informed me that they have no idea what wheel dimensions to run.... lol ..... fml .... so ideally i would like to run a 255 on 17s all the way around but im concerend about backspacing/offset especially when running a wider wheel/tire combo. my front tire even with the spacer is awfully close to the coilover. my factory wheel is a 16x7 with 46mm offset if i keep the same width and just run the correct offset i would need a -24mm offset wheel. if my tires are a 215 (8.5") and i want to run a 255 (10") would i need to run -48mm offset wheels to get the correct fitment? Im just trying to make sure my math is correct:confused::confused: |
I’ll ask for his wheel specs but BlueBimma is running 285,30,18 on the back of his 98 sport. I’m not sure if he even rolled the fender but you can fit a wide wheel on the back of a Ti. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

One way you can guesstimate is by using this: http://www.willtheyfit.com/ Just input your stock setting you know works and won't mess with your coil overs and adjust your new setup until it seems like it will fit what your looking for. |
I run 245s on my 8in rims now. I forgot the offset specs on my new wheels but i will be running 305s on 10.5in 18s |
I think I ordered wheels for an e90 m3 or f80 m3 |
