Change the ad. It is not a M3 so take M3 out of the title. Its really not all that rare so Id take that out too. You need to think out the ad better, Id delete that one asap. When I see someone representing their car as something its not (M3) or using words like rare or mint I immediately stop looking at it.

Is the wood trim factory? I've never seen a Ti with it

JoeyBello 07-05-2007 06:08 PM

I don't know about the wood- It says something on it that I cant make out.. in like gold.. like some limited edition and numbered and signed...

JoeyBello 07-05-2007 06:15 PM

um you put m3 to get more hits duh.. you should see come ads with like keywords: lexus,bmw,audi,m3, etc etc thats crazy..some people got like every car brand listed.. thats a bit much. And according to websites the ti itself is rare... if I do a search within 300 miles of my house on any car site.. maybe 10 pop up.. and maybe 3 or 4 them if your lucky have the m-package.. so if thats not rare.. what is?? WHat else is rare is a 96 with 83,000 miles and in mint condition... when people see my car they think its much newer.. I know the pics dont do it justice.. but it looks like a 3 or 4 year old car.. so back off buddy lol:biggrin:

I mean look at Ebay the global monster and it never has more then 2-5 ti's for sale at a time, and hardly any of them got the m-kit

my 2 cents
-i've been asked if my car was an '06... (it's a '97) (good paint on any car will do that)
-the TI is rather rare, but not "extremely" rare - this is not an exotic import.
-um, it's auto.
-"very low 83000 miles"

i'd still say 8k is a good asking price though, so do what you doin :)

You said to check out your ti and he did and is giving you opinions on your sale. I 100% agree with SDKmann. It's not an m3 and it's really not that rare. (they made them for 4 yrs 95-99) I see dozens of ti's for sale in my neck of the woods. Other than that I'd say the price is about right with the miles it has and that it's a sport edition.

The wood trim must've been added by a previous owner, it was not an option in the states. The only ti's I've seen with it have been added on after or some of the euro ti's have them.

JoeyBello 07-05-2007 07:25 PM

Well you guys have been on this site longer then me.. so how about some numbers for me.. how many Ti's were made in 1996 and how many had the sport package? I know 1999 all ti's had the sport package... so also from 1995-1999 how many ti's were made? and how many were sports and club sports.. surely on this site someone must know... they I want to know also from 1995-1999 how many m3's were made and I want to know how many 325/323/328's were made... if someone got those numbers I think It would prove my point.

JoeyBello 07-05-2007 07:28 PM

And I know its auto duh lol And I know its not an exotic or m3.. I am not claiming it is.. I have seen plenty of kids advertise 1992 m3!! or whatever -- thats retarded.. they get you to look at an ad and its really a 318 or 325 with a body kit... I clearly stated what the car is in the ad... anyone who wants to redo the ad.. please feel free AND if it sells through YOUR ad...I will give you commission! 4real~

What's the deal with the wood trim? I saw a ti that had wood trim, but it was like a sticker and it was eventually peeling. Is your kit actually a replacement for the stock plastic dashboard piece?
