WANTED: Gray Millpoint Interior

I'm still looking for a Gray Millpoint interior. My original thread was closed so I am starting over with pictures this time.

Below is a picture of a Gray Millpoint Interior. This is the interior I am interested in purchasing or trading for:

Below is a picture of my current interior. Its in my 1998 currently. The interior is in great shape. The drivers seat is an 8/10 due to bolster wear, however when treated with leather conditioner, it looks very good. Aside from the drivers seat, its a 9.5/10. Seats are not heated:

What I want is:
  • Front & Rear Seats
  • Both Interior Door Panels
  • Both Rear Interior Panels
  • Shift Boot
  • Emergency Brake Boot

The shift and emergency brake boots are stitched with Gray thread to match the seats. They are less of a priority but wanted as well.

Just out of curiosity, have you checked on getting the cloth replaced with something similar to the gray that you want? I'm sure it would be expensive, but maybe not as expensive as an entire interior. Plus, you wouldn't have to find someone selling the interior you want.

I know the door panels would be problematic, but who knows... maybe there's a way to replace the cloth there too.

There is always a way.

It would be much easier to fine one.

Interesting. From your sig, I seem to have what you "most souly desire".

While I would really enjoy the Millpoint, it isn't going to be near the upgrade the engine is.

HEHE, Its funny, because I like your interior more than I like Millpoint. I can't wait to do the swap.

I think we have a love match here.

If you two pull everything but the front seat(s) you could meet in PA or WV and avoid shipping. Probably 4 hrs driving for each of you. Done.

Campaiar- not a big deal but a '96 rear seat will not have headrests. Wouldn't stop me from swapping. While my red seats were loose I took them to Froggy's car wash in Mariemont and they steam extracted both fronts and the rear bench for $30. Just dropped them off, picked them up later that day.

I wouldn't miss the rear headrests. I never sit back there anyway.

I'd totally drive into WV to swap interiors.

What do you say BMW_HATCHBACK? You can experiece an S52 swapped ti as a bonus.

Any pics of your interior?

Found you a car that might have the interior you want. I sent you a pm with the details. By the way what interior do you have now?

campaiar 03-25-2009 11:20 PM

Sent a message to the guy asking for pics. Thanks for the heads up.

My interior is pictured above.

There ya go, campaiar... buy that car, swap the interiors, then either sell the car or part it out. Problem solved. :-)

budget76 03-26-2009 06:19 AM

And send me the side moldings for getting you the find

The thought of purchasing an entire car and reselling it is looking more and more probable.

If I'm going to go through that hassle, I need to locate something I am confident in reselling. And the interior would have to be near perfect.

Its definitely an option.

Budget, side moldings are cheap. Just order some from BavAuto.
