FS: 1998 BMW 318ti Active California Roof 5-speed

SOLD!!!

I spent months looking for this California Roof 318ti, and my family and I enjoy it immensely, but I have decided to sell this delightful BMW to pursue other interests. The car was lightly restored by the previous owner, a 318ti aficionado on 318ti.org, for his daily use. The details of the parts he and I replaced and the work performed are documented below and in the photos at this link: 1998 BMW 318ti Active California Roof for Sale

I have owned the car for a year and only put 1800 trouble-free miles on her during weekend jaunts with my family. She is always garaged, has only seen rain once in the last year, and is kept clean. The car has never been smoked in. The body is straight and rust free, the interior plastics are in good shape, and the new headliner looks great! A/C and heat work at all fan speeds. The engine runs like a sewing machine and fires up without hesitation every time. The Eisenmann muffler sounds GREAT – a refined, deep sound without drone. The car is so easy to drive: the controls are light and direct, the clutch is smooth, and E36 driving position really connects you to the car. The only mechanical issue is the common-to-BMW slow leak of the power steering line.

I have the clean title in hand and some fun, local roads for serious buyers to explore. So contact me via email (type numerals) cbryantFIVEONEFOUR @ gmail dot com and I will send you my cell number so we can talk / text. I live very close to I-20, exit 98 east of Atlanta, GA, so I am easy to find. I have also purchased and sold several cars long-distance, so I will be happy to work with your travel schedule and shipping company.

I also have the following brake upgrade for sale separately for $500. These brand new E46 parts were to be paired with the upgraded wheels and tires for mountain runs and autocross, but my educational goals put a stop to those shenanigans.

330i Front / 325i Rear Pads - EBC Yellow 176.00
330i Front Calipers (Centric Semi-Loaded) 220.00

Is it just me or does your roof move REALLY fast? Maybe mine is just slow. I want your wind deflector...
