Fogged, dirty headlight cover cleaner

I just got a '98 ti and the headlight covers were majorly fogged up and dirty. I went to Carquest and got some "Bright Solutions" headlight cleaner (the $30 kind, not the $12 kind) and it worked amazingly!
Labor was minor and the difference is dramatic. I always forget to take before and after pics and this situation isn't any different but the headlights look 1000 times better.
All you do is rub some supplied pretreatment on the covers, then put on some "oxidization remover" and repeat until the cover cleans up. You can then add some shine restorer/protector on it and it basically waxes the covers up and makes them a bit more shiny.
The covers aren't absolutely gleaming but they are clear and look a lot better.
Hope this helps some one!

You obviously have plastic lens covers. There's a lot you can do with those. I wanted to see if I could clean up mine, and did a lot of googling, and found a ton of info on the plastic lens fixes.

Those of us with glass lenses are less fortunate in what we can do with them. I know I can sometimes get new lenses off of eBay, but they are not frequently sold.

I use 3M Plastic Polish and it works great. Unfortunately the haze does come back after a while. I just repolished them last week, but this time I put a few layers of normal carnuba car wax on them after. Maybe that'll keep them clear longer??
