fluid leakage

I have this leakage problem for the past 3 months. it is been consistant. havent had a chance to have a mechanic to look it up as I havnet been driving much lately but will see one soon. wanted your opinion before I go to one. I cant figure out where exactly the leakage originating from..I am not so good in car mechanics either. i have posted some pix below. since the leakage started i have noticed that shifting isnt smooth and also the steering , especially when i make sharp left and right turn it makes squealing noise. since last week this noise has worsened. is that mean the fluid that is being leaked is break fluid? would it leak for that long time (3 months).
