Fathers Day Dilemma

So as you all should know, fathers day is coming up this sunday. The issue I'm running into is that my dad and I will be running an autocross event all day long and the ti will be out of commission  The right front tie rod is shot, the front sway bar is busted up, theres a few bushings that need replacing and we're probably gonna replace the shocks while were at it, so its gonna be a few weeks before she's ready to take on some spirited driving. In this case we both have to autocross my 2002 325ci, so I come to the problem area, do I be nice since its fathers day and not go all out on the car and let him do better or do I try to stick it to him?

As a father I can tell you that my child would be in serious trouble if I felt like they were holding back... make your dad proud and play to win.

After starting this thread, you better pray you win. ;)

I never thought about it that way, its a really good point. And as for winning, at last weekends autocross I had him beat by 1.5 seconds, but he was in the ti and I ran the ci, and in PAX time (take it how you will) I had him by 1 second. Our mutual "teacher" or "guru" whatever you want to call him also inflated my ego by telling me that I had a better feel for the car at its limits than my dad, as he rode with both of us, but for all I know he could've been playing me up.

Go all out.......Competition is the blood of character......Your Dad has given you the foundation for yours......Show him what you have.....And who you have become!

He will be proud and truly enjoy his father's day......Nothing better than witnessing you son being a man!

Now pull up your skirt and get out there!
