Hello from Austin...

I've owned several BMW's. I have a 1992 325iC M Technic appearance pkg. in triple black. I also have a 99 M Roadster, Dakar Yellow II with Dinan mods. Had a 1993 e30 325iC that took me 8 years to make almost perfect, thanks to the help of the R3Vlimited and Bimmerforums boards. Sold it about 3 weeks ago because I found the M Technic cabrio. I've kept my profile name from the other boards. Please don't be offended that it doesn't say anything about a ti.
I've joined here because I think I'd like to make a 318ti my daily driver, so I'm looking. Not afraid to buy a car from a different part of the country...done so before. The M Technic came from Vancouver, B.C. And I've also found cars on the internet in VA, NE, and IL.
I'll be looking at the classifieds here, as well as other threads for info about what I've always thought is a very cool car...the ti.

As a practical matter, you will probably have to get on an airplane to pick up a nice ti. I did and I had a ball driving the car back to Texas from Lancaster, Pa. Welcome to the forum. John

That's exactly what I did to go get the M Technic. Sure was nervous buying that one way ticket. But the car was as described and had a great drive back to Texas. Getting the car into the states wasn't as difficult as I thought, either.

I also bought my car somewhere else (LA) and drove it to Dallas. If you're ever up here let me know! I'll be on the lookout for a nice ti for sale.

I bought my black 97 sport in Portland, Oregon and drove it back to Sacramento. The one in my signature. So worth the flight and drive.
