Hello from Austin... I've owned several BMW's. I have a 1992 325iC M Technic appearance pkg. in triple black. I also have a 99 M Roadster, Dakar Yellow II with Dinan mods. Had a 1993 e30 325iC that took me 8 years to make almost perfect, thanks to the help of the R3Vlimited and Bimmerforums boards. Sold it about 3 weeks ago because I found the M Technic cabrio. I've kept my profile name from the other boards. Please don't be offended that it doesn't say anything about a ti. I've joined here because I think I'd like to make a 318ti my daily driver, so I'm looking. Not afraid to buy a car from a different part of the country...done so before. The M Technic came from Vancouver, B.C. And I've also found cars on the internet in VA, NE, and IL. I'll be looking at the classifieds here, as well as other threads for info about what I've always thought is a very cool car...the ti. |
Welcome to the .org! Many of us have had e30s' e34's etc., no offence taken from your username.. Keep us posted on your search! |
Yup, Welcome! I still have my E30 Cabro and a E39 along with a few TI's. pics when you get a moment. Good luck in your TI Search. Cheers! |
welcome sir. Good luck on your search. Can we see pics of your current stable? |
2 Attachment(s) Here are some pics, as requested. Not too exciting, I know. |
As a practical matter, you will probably have to get on an airplane to pick up a nice ti. I did and I had a ball driving the car back to Texas from Lancaster, Pa. Welcome to the forum. John |
That's exactly what I did to go get the M Technic. Sure was nervous buying that one way ticket. But the car was as described and had a great drive back to Texas. Getting the car into the states wasn't as difficult as I thought, either. |
Nice cars, love the license plates too... |
I also bought my car somewhere else (LA) and drove it to Dallas. If you're ever up here let me know! I'll be on the lookout for a nice ti for sale. -Matt |
Not sure if this is still for sale but it's nice: http://austin.craigslist.org/cto/4982894308.html |
