An alternative plan is to drive to Holister the afternoon before and stay overnight to join us for the full drive down. Some questions have been posted on other threads so this is a Q&A to all them. 2) The event is open to any and all. The drive down is on fun back roads done as a group to make it more fun. So invite your friends if you like 3) Families are welcome to attend. If they get car sick, there is a group of families going direct on Friday to meet us in Pasadena. 4) The deadline to sign up is May 16th as hotels need to be assigned and any extras released. Rates we have are guaranteed so if you book last minute rates will be higher if not with the group as a FYI. |
Just a note, the drive last year was AWESOME! including an unexpected road repair. Carry spare lug nuts... ! BBQ was great as well... Adam, If I head down this year again, i'll sign up. Cheers! Rich  |

Only difference is we are adding a day to drive to mammoth and DV. Hope to get a few people on the second part. I am leading all 4 days/. |
Anyone considering to do the track day at Bimmerfest this year? Looks like two days, I'd do Saturday. |
reminder to sign up soon Event changed slightly as there was no interest in Mammoth. Register here:http://raddrives.com/catalog/index.p...&product_id=68 |
Hey Adam! So, i was thinking of staying both days so I miss the drive back through Grapevine. Potentially morning Auto-x Sat and check out Fest in the afternoon with a track day on Sunday, drive back Monday. Let me see how this change fits in. Thanks! |
All good buddy |
Anyone thinking about driving down from NorCal to Fest, Adam sets up an Awesome route with great folks taking the drive. I was torn last year which was funnier, the track day or the drive down. Way beats a boring drive down 5 or 101. Do this! [emoji41] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
I'm in, thanks Adam. I will not be doing the Auto-X at Fest as is is only for non-BMW CCA members. It is a recruiting effort, so figuring if I do one or two track days. If you are not a member, this is a great deal for the Auto-X day AND a year membership for the same price. I'm thinking to do the track day on Sunday if most folks will be there Saturday for meet and greets. It would be good to meet you all. |
Saw you signed up. No lunch? |
No, I'm on a restrictive diet just now which so far has me 44 lbs lighter. I will still be on it at that time. I may bring my brother and am figuring if he will be comfortable driving the route with us in his new to him Bimmer. So, we may have one more driver or not.
