RD Sport Suspension came today

1 Attachment(s)
I recently purchased springs and shocks from RDSPORT, Cali for $395. I was pleased when I opened the box. All of the components are marked with Bilstein Made in Germany engravings, and Racing Dynamics Engravings. Can't wait to put em in, hopefully in time for the 2009 calender.

Attachment 6819

If anyone has any questions about them, let me know. As far as I know, they have a few sets left going for $395. After those are sold, thats it. I'll edit this some time when I start to put them in. I sure hope I don't have to do anything custom, I hate those kinds of projects.

They quoted a 1.2" drop all around, but I'm anticipating much lower than that.

He did say that this kit was around $1200 when they were in demand, so yeah $395 is a heck of a deal for anything sport Bilstein related

tiFreak 09-30-2008 03:31 PM

cool, but did you get that pic off there website? it looks like they made it in a 3D modeling program, lol

BMW_Hatchback 09-30-2008 06:03 PM

the kit I got looks exactly the same

Marv, I'm planning on taking a trip to their place (maybe tomorrow), I know that you are not free but let me know if anyhting changes with your schedule.

BMW_Hatchback 09-30-2008 11:57 PM

Call Ryan @ 949 325 4100

elchicano 10-01-2008 12:05 AM

Do the springs already come with the struts attached or would we have to put them on? The more i see this the more I'm interested. Ryan if you read this by any chance how many do you have left.

hmm??? where is it at?
... i dunno. i have class from 11am to 6pm. then a fraternity meeting at 7pm. :frown:
but if there's anything there i'd like, hit me up. cool?

wolferj-RIP 10-01-2008 12:32 AM

Well I called Ryan at RDSport this morning, and he still had a few available. So, I bought a set, and he shipped it out this morning. I should have it in a few days... The price is hard to beat, as the price is less than I found for Bilsteins alone...

I don't know how many sets he has left, so I would call ASAP if anyone is serious...

Marv17 10-01-2008 12:46 AM

Wolf- how much was your total? if you dont mind me asking...

oh, and what else would i need to buy if i bought these? i know i'd need new rear mounts, but what else???

BMW_Hatchback 10-01-2008 12:54 AM

My total was $395 + Shipping ($60 to MAR)

whats up with getting new rear mounts? Mine look fine. RD only has a few sets left, so act soon.

Lowered suspensions destroy the stock RSMs. It's easiest to replace the RSMs with upgraded units while the suspension is off.
