shea beaut! |
wow.. can i hazz that interior |
sooooo nice! |
what's first, suspension? looks well taken care of. willing to part with interior? worth a shot in asking |
First, I need to fix a few things like a leaking oil filter housing gasket, bald tires, and brakes that have very little pad left (although the wear light is not yet on). I will address the suspension in a few months, I have not fully decided what direction I'm going to go there but it will be getting all the urethane I carry. The December Volume is already up and I have started working on January already. The previous owner put a lot of love into that interior and it looks truly amazing for having the better part of 200k miles on it. It will be staying with the car. Quote:

Looks to be in really good shape. Could you do me a favor and keep this one stock? Please? Pretty please? [puppy dog eyes] Pleeeeaaaase? heh heh |
Given my line of work I'm just no good at that... I won't be going crazy with it. If someday it gets a swap you will find it hard to be disappointed (I may have something in mind ;) ) I am keeping everything I take off so the next owner will be able to put it back to stock should they so desire. Dope! You and your club sports |
I have not forgotten to post January's update. The first round of maintenance snowballed a little as it seems I came down with a case of while-I-have-this-apart-I-might-as-well-do-that... I'll post up some pictures of the current state over the weekend. |
I made a little progress today... - Swapped the water pump out. It was not bad but it had 45k miles on it. - Upgraded to an 88deg thermostat - Changed Spark Plugs (NGK BKR6EQUP) That is all I completed today but I did make progress tearing things apart. - Pulled Radiator - Removed upper intake manifold to get to idle control valve - Removed oil filter housing for gasket replacement - Removed plastic coolant fitting on block (it was not leaking but it came off in 2 pieces... so I got lucky) I decided to replace the radiator, coolant hoses, and the plastic fitting. I figured I might as well take a few extra steps in the name of reliability while I'm in there fixing the oil filter housing leak. |

Nice idea, I'm assuming your going to something about the dual mass flywheel? I'm interested to see what you use :_paper:. I'm also trying to keep the 4cyl and just make it more balanced and fun for the corners. Good stuff. |
