1995 base model - colour matched bumpers?
 

Hi all,

Newbie here. Purchased a 1995 Compact, base model, a couple of weeks ago, with the intention of making it into a “collector status” car in 2020. Here in British Columbia, if a car is kept in original(ish) condition, it can qualify for significantly reduced insurance premiums. Minor modifications are acceptable, only if they were available as options, or reasonable aftermarket add-ons for the period. As an example, I put on Style 30 alloys, as they were available at the time for other E36 cars, so they will be acceptable.

Mine has they grey bumpers, and grey coated rocker panels. I see from a 1997 (I think) brochure, that colour-matched bumpers were available for black vehicles. Looking for confirmation from other base model owners, if their bumpers came colour matched. I’ve got a 1995 Ti brochure on order from eBay, but interested in hearing from others that might have colour-matched bumpers on their base model, vs. grey.
