Piston/Valve Clearance
 

I had my M44 head resurfaced and they took off a bit more than expected, around 0.013". I know there's a thicker head gasket available, but I had already purchased the standard one. Does anybody have any idea how much margin there is before valves and pistons meet? My feeling is that I'll be OK, but it would be nice to have some confirmation.

hi your engine will work fine with the standard gasket
you just have a little gain with the compression ratio
and a little much more performance from him
