am53542 here. 4th owner of a '95 Hellrot Club Sport. LSD and sunroof delete. Car has been on this forum before: a search showed the classified ad from Owner 2 to Owner 3, and I bought the car from Owner 3 after he listed it here as well. |
Man I really need to get into a Club Sport! |
AM53647 here. No LSD, no primo sound, but yes to the sunroof. Someone had the priorities mixed up with that order sheet. |
AM53607 is now owned by me.... Over 286K miles on the clock Was bought as a Craigslist $1500 S52/M3 project till I discovered it's "pedigree"... Needs engine and paint/clear coat repair, but it runs, all the parts work, and it's very original. My street "race" car project just became a full on restore... Oh well.. |
It’s been awhile since anyone has posted here but I just picked up a Hellrot red club sport that ends with SAM53603. It had options delete so no cruise, tilt, and what not. It does have the LSD and a sunroof. Supposedly a previous owner used to AutoX the car in Florida and he installed a lightened flywheel, Stromung exhaust, an X brace and a few other odds and ends. It’s a little rough for a full restore but I plan on getting the car in nice shape and bringing it around to the local BMW club events and some AutoX and what not. I’m also starting a YouTube channel and I’m going to feature the Clubsport so if you’re interested check it out at Ninety-One Octane. |
I was doing some housekeeping and came across the paperwork that I had from the club sport that I took apart. So this one is no longer out there. Vin: WBACG532X5AM53569 It was Black w/sunroof. |
AM53498 Black. Picked it up last year in Austin. |
I know this is a pretty dead thread, but wanted to update for record keeping sake. I was one of the previous owners of this ti and happy to say it is back in my possession. After contacting BimmerBum back in 2014(?), he finally sold it back to me last year. It is now up on stands and getting the refresh that it desperately needs. It was an unfortunate situation that he had to sell it, but it is absolutely in good hands and I'm so stoked to have it back. The m50 swap was done by myself back in 2003, in my parents driveway and it is hilarious to see the work I did 20 years later up close....definitely in the "good enough" category of things. Excited to dig in fix a lot of hasty work done by a teenager who was high on way too much redbull. So to summarize: the Black Clubsport, vin WBACG5321SAM53623 , Slick top, m50tu (until I can source a nice s54) is now out here in Portland back with its second owner. Quote:

That's a cool story! I hope BimmerBum is doing well... I haven't spoken with him for several years now. |
