95 318 + 98 m52b28

Hello all. Picked up a alpine white 95 318ti for $1900 early last year. Replaced all suspension bits, meyle HD where possible. Bilstein touring shocks. Rogue engineer rsm. Z3 reinforcement plate in front. M3 wheels 225 front 235 rear tires are nitto motivo. 1% ceramic tint all around. Replaced the starter and cracked the plastic coolant hose coming off the m42 block. Warped it. A local source came through with a clean m52b28 w all accessories, full exhaust, and 2 wire harnesses for 600. No name ebay aluminum race radiator 100. Pusher fan 130. E46 m3 engine mount 100. Got a stage 1 clutch kit with 12lb flywheel for 400. Hakenett dme for 380. Still need to cut exhaust and slight fab. Take a look at my album

Just finished everything up, all the power steering couplings leak due to reusing old washers, and the coolant manifold on the head leaks at higher rpm. Inconsequential compared to the output flange of the transmission backing off the output spline around 140mph. Guibo went from 100-0 real quick lol. Assuming I had the driveshaft too compressed causing it to pull on the flange. Will be checking the Bentley procedure instead of winging it this time. Fairly certain the maf is flaking out as well. Deleted the air pump. Car sets no codes, starts easily with original key. Engine came with 140amp alternator so putting in 2000 rms mono amp to power 2 18"s. Zero space in hatch. 800 rms 4 channel for door speakers. Finding speakers to handle increased capacity has been troublesome. Let me know what you think

Great work, like the peace sign still hanging on the inside mirror...:)

Anyone know what output flange spline supposed to look like? Can't tell if it ground down backing off :/

Output flange itself

Salvageable?

If that nut will come out and the flange ain't cracked, lock tite it back on. and replace that carrier bearing, the oval stuff don't look right.
