all you have to do is fill out the customs papers to bring it to the USA.

There are specialists that import CA cars to the US..

A 97 as long as it has the cat and OBD plug should make it through but knowing the game is 90% of the problem...

You'll have to do some googling to fins a importer who does grey cars.

to get it registered here, no emissions test, just daytime running lights..., also Japan has very strict emissions
