Which Cali top motor and switch do you have? I have a 98 Cali Sport. I have two threaded motors with different pigtails. The original in the foreground has a single socket that connects to wiring that is connected to a switch. The one installed when I got the car, I suspect a relatively new motor. http://i402.photobucket.com/albums/p...pskk0zay0z.jpg The new motor I received has a pigtail that has a switch socket, then a connector that goes to power, depicted in the background. Meaning there are at least three types of motor setups. (Allen, threaded #1 and threaded #2) I can and will use my original motor as it was my top that had failed. My question is, what type of switch goes on the second harness configuration? If I end up using the other (new) motor, I can swap the connectors, but I was wondering if there is any difference or advantages between the two setups. If you have the second setup, I'd appreciate a pic or the part# for the switch please. Thanks! |
Four types. I have another with an allen socket with the switch pigtail. |
