like..... the... body kit? the body kit from a larger, wider car, on our small, compact cars?

roadrash 03-23-2009 12:52 AM

Friends don't let friends put E46 body parts on an e36. :-)

roadrash 03-23-2009 01:07 AM

Well, If you PROMISE to not do this, I'll confess to having seen pix of an E46 front bumper on an E36, I think it was a 318ti, but I'm not 100% positive.

You should find a few related threads if you search for "E36 E46 front bumper" at bimmerforums.com.

I'm not a fan but I've seen plenty of worse bodykits

hey hey hey....... Whats up with all the negative comments on this wonderful kit? I had one on my ti a couple of years back.. then I got some sense and swapped it out.

and... that's a wrap! Hey do you still have your ti? I remember you had some fat staggared wheels and nice intake mani?

Maverix 03-23-2009 03:12 AM

I'd love to see a e81 bumper on a ti

dguzzardo22 03-23-2009 04:42 AM

Honestly that doesn't look bad all! I'm gonna hit my custom shop and see what we can do.

tiFreak 03-24-2009 12:25 AM

there's also the E90 style kit, even worse

and an E36 style bumper for the E30, which IMO, doesn't look that bad, not sure if it's one-off or not

Wow I like that e90 kit. Makes it look more modern, yet practical at the same time. I also love the complete radial headlights, which is what I have. Though the eye lids need to go.

Trust me, you'll have plenty of space. Only reason that picture looks low is because the car has really low suspension of at least 2 inches.
