Wow is right... beautiful car, done right.

BRADESTAR 03-24-2015 06:14 PM

I was actually wondering if that WAS your car Bozola. Right color.

Pretty cool somebody bought a brand new car and immediately takes it for motor and tuning.

Did you see Jean's TI? Would be nice to keep this one around the .org...

Wow, that car looks really well done! :)

(and hehe, we actually had matching door cards available in Germany to the seats that he is running  )

$14,500 though... wow. I guess I'm just cheap. LOL

teetime4one 03-25-2015 12:19 AM

I just read about this car on FB. It's beautful

Bozola 03-25-2015 12:35 AM

Worth every penny if you are a Ti Lover like me. Sell the 129? Sell the Z3 Coupe? I know!!!!

The Odyssey!

i guess that makes two of us but i like to call myself frugal or conservative.

Drool-worthy for sure but 14.5k sounds a bit too steep. Shop labor isn't cheap though :frown:

An S50 with 50k is an S50 with 50K on it regardless of whether it was installed new or 'pulled from a junkyard' so I don't see the point there.

kstadelman 03-25-2015 01:58 AM

Yep- folks over at Bring A Trailer are talking about it a lot.

Of course a number of them just don't like the Ti hatchback body, but quite a few are interested.

A very fair price in my opinion. For anyone who ever intends to do a build like this, save yourself some time and money!

M-technik-3 03-25-2015 09:32 AM

For a clean rust free straight car, it worth it. cheaper than buying any new car on the market out there in the 15-20k range nothing will compare as all will be fwd and boring.

Few things wrong weight, diff and hp ratings but nothing to complain about overall

BRADESTAR 03-25-2015 04:24 PM

What about the S50 OBD1 question in a '96? Was that a split year or something or are exemptions in place?
